StoryStrong is a community storytelling organization creating, archiving, and sharing stories across generations and communities.
Our story
It started in a circle in Flint.
StoryStrong grew out of Flint's BIPOC Mental Health work — a belief that when survivors of lived experience share honestly with younger generations, healing moves in both directions. From that first gathering, it's become a method, a movement, and a growing family of programs.
